All of them are ticked OFF. Googling how to turn off auto downloads always just leads me back to this screen, but for whatever reason having them all off doesn't. Obviously there's a massive update right off the bat, so I moved my ps4 to my router to plug it directly into an ethernet cable to download it faster and I put it into rest mode. You can force the update doing the following steps. Go to the PS Store in a web browser and buy a free item. After checking out, click the Download to my PS4 button. This action with wake up your console which will also force it to check for updates. It's a bit of a PITA but it works. OP, you are turning on your system before it automatically checks for updates. Having every PS4 download an game update as soon as they publish it would kill their servers. It is downloaded in the early morning and staggered based on location and time zones.
